Meet Wild Touring: Exploring Australia’s Wilderness with Cam, Tiff, Chloe, and Brodie

 We are super thrilled to introduce our April Ambassadors of the Month: Wild Touring!

 Comprised of Cam, Tiff, Chloe, and Brodie, this dynamic family shares a passion for exploring the great outdoors and inspiring others to embark on their own wild adventures. With an impressive social media presence across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube, Wild Touring is not just a family; they’re a community of outdoor enthusiasts dedicated to showcasing Australia’s stunning landscapes and unforgettable experiences.

 A Dinner Party with Influential Inspirations

When asked about their heroes, Cam from Wild Touring doesn’t hesitate to mention his parents, the true embodiment of heroism in his eyes. Yet, in the realm of influential figures, he expresses a desire to dine with YouTubers Brodie Moss (YoungBloods), Matt Field (Field Days), and Justin Lorrimer (Trip In a Van), individuals he deeply respects for their contributions to the outdoor community.

 From Hobby to Influence

Cam’s journey into social media influencing was a natural evolution. What began as a personal catalogue of outdoor memories on Facebook gradually transformed into a platform for sharing adventures on YouTube. With a focus on fishing, 4x4ing, and camping, Cam’s content aims to inspire others to explore their own backyards and create cherished moments with loved ones.

 Driven by Diversity

With a history spanning over 20 4WDs, including models from various brands like Nissan, Toyota, Jeep, Suzuki, Mitsubishi, Holden, and Ford, Cam embraces diversity in his off-road pursuits. Currently enamored with the new 300 Series Land Cruiser, his dream vehicle would be a customised version with a canopy and oversized wheels.

 Exploring Australia’s Treasures

While the Kimberley holds a special place in their hearts, the Wild Touring family was captivated by the beauty of Christmas Island during a recent excursion. As avid travelers, they look forward to exploring more of the world, starting with a visit to family in Japan later this year.

 Oricom Keeps Them Connected

Equipped with Oricom’s DTX4200xp UHF radio and the ANU1200 All Terrain Antenna, Wild Touring stays connected on their expeditions. The Dual Receive function of the DTX4200XP allows them to monitor road conditions while communicating with their convoy, while the ANU1200 provides optimal signal strength in diverse terrains.

 Additionally, the family relies on Oricom’s DTX600 handheld radios for seamless communication during caravan manoeuvres and off-road adventures, ensuring safety and coordination at all times.

 Goals for 2024: Family and Adventure

As for their aspirations, Cam’s personal goals revolve around being the best father and husband he can be while creating lasting memories with his family. On the travel front, he’s eagerly anticipating expeditions to the Simpson Desert and Fraser Island, adding more unforgettable experiences to the Wild Touring chronicles.
