You might ask – What is Dual Receive? How does that differ from Dual Scan or Dual Watch?

When you break it down, it’s pretty simple. Dual Receive Technology allows a user to receive and listen to two different channels simultaneously. That’s right, two separate receivers in the radio transceiver, allowing two streams of audio to play at the exact same time.

In what situation would that technology be beneficial?

Imagine that you’re talking to your mates on channel 64, keeping in touch with updates on where they are in the convoy or just keeping up to date with the friendly banter. However – if you’re on channel 64, you can’t also be listening to the highway channel on 40, listening out for safety updates, traffic etc. With the DTX4200X, you are able to receive both transmissions at the same time.Confidently listen to both, ensuring you don’t miss an important conversation or safety update.
